In this video tutorial, see how to disassemble and replace the battery of the key fob on a second-generation Ford Focus by following these simple instructions. First, take your key fob and pry open the sides of the rear cover, using something thin if necessary, to separate the key from the fob; now pry to open the fob into two parts to access the battery, as shown in the video.

At this point, replace it with a new one of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V), and reassemble everything!
