Replacement of Rear Axle Bushes

Once the rear axle is removed from the vehicle, you need to remove the bushes (silent blocks) from their housings. The rubber inside tends to degrade over time due to aging, exacerbated by driving on salted snowy roads. The best solution to extract the old bushes is to heat the housing with a blowtorch to expand it and facilitate removal; alternatively, you can proceed as shown in the video, breaking the rubber part and cutting the metal bush with a hacksaw to allow it to shrink during extraction. Grease and insert the new bushes, pressing them in fully and only inserting the central metal bush at the end.
