Draining Coolant on Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

On Ford Focus models from 1998 to 2004, there are not many points from which to drain the coolant. The only "good" point is located, as shown in the video, on the left side of the vehicle: so raise the car with a jack and locate the mentioned bolt shown in the video, which is obviously connected to the radiator. Unscrew it with an 8 mm Allen key and insert a hose to direct the fluid into your chosen container. It will take about 10-15 minutes for complete drainage. For proper cleaning of the radiator circuit, it is recommended to fill the circuit with plain water and drain it a second time.
