How do you remove the car radio from a Ford Focus? Let's see how to disassemble the pieces to extract the car radio. Remove the plastic trim below the radio using a plastic lever (where the air conditioning buttons are) and detach it from the centre console. Remove the air conditioning control panel and unscrew the fastening screws. Take off the front part of the car radio and disconnect the electrical connectors. Unscrew the fastening screws from the internal part of the car radio. Pull out the car radio by hand and disconnect the power cables. To reassemble, reverse the disassembly steps. Secure all the covering plastics.
