Disassembly of the instrument panel on Ford cars

Model: Ford Ford Various
Part: Instrument cluster

If you intend to replace the bulbs in the instrument panel, I recommend that you disconnect the battery thirty minutes before starting work for safety reasons (first the negative pole). Lower the steering wheel as far as you can thanks to the lever below it. Unscrew the two seven-millimeter screws located in the upper part of the instrument panel and get a plastic lever or a small flat screwdriver (not a large iron spatula, as done in the video) to pry and remove the outer frame. At this point you will have discovered four more 7 mm screws: unscrew them, remove the panel and disconnect the rear cables.

How to Remove the Fuel Pump from the Tank on an Opel Astra

How to remove the fuel pump from the tank on an Opel Astra? First, disconnect the battery cables. Next, remove the rear seat cushions from the car. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap (located on the metal panel), then remove it from its seat. Use absorbent paper around the perimeter to soak up any liquid leaks. Unscrew the large securing bolt of the fuel pump (if present on the model), disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation pipes. Extract the floating fuel pump from its seat along with any attached parts. Finally, refit a new piece.
