How do you reset the Ford Powershift automatic transmission?

The Powershift automatic transmission, installed on Ford cars, may suddenly not respond to commands, preventing the use of the vehicle. There is no need to panic, as most likely the issue can be resolved with a reset of the automatic transmission. The procedure is explained here, with a video and commentary, so let's see how to do it: Turn on the instrument panel, put the lever in N and wait 15 seconds, then turn off the panel, move the lever to P and turn on the panel again, always waiting 15 seconds. Finish by turning off the panel again, repositioning the lever in N and turning on the panel.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
