Reliability of Ford's powershift II transmission

Ford's automatic transmission, called Powershift, was made in two versions. The first, built between 2008 and 2015, had issues with the clutch pack. In 2015, Ford then installed the classic dual-mass flywheel, which, if it breaks - and it can happen, like with all other transmissions - at least the pieces do not end up in the transmission gears as they did in the first version, where the flywheel was absent. The second version of the Powershift began to be installed first on the Edge, and then from there on all Ford automatics starting from the 1.5 TDCi 120 HP, then the 2.0 TDCi 150 HP and 170 HP, produced from 2015 to 2018. After that, they started making the normal automatic transmission with a torque converter. For these transmissions, maintenance is still recommended every 50,000 km, as it is quite a delicate transmission.
