How do you reset the automatic transmission of Ford cars?

In order to reset the automatic transmission of Ford vehicles, you need to open the hood to locate the components inside. Here you will find the battery, which needs to be disconnected from its power cable connected to the negative terminal. Once the cable is disconnected, you can wait a few minutes for the TCM (Transmission Control Module) reset to be completed. Once the transmission control module reset is done, you can reconnect the negative terminal and make sure everything is working properly.
