Removing the gear gaiter of a Ford Fiesta is a straightforward task for replacing it or the gear knob. As shown in this short video, simply obtain a flathead screwdriver that is not too thick. Use it to gently pry between the centre console and the gaiter frame to avoid damaging the plastics. At this point, just unscrew the gear knob, which is threaded, and detach it from the gaiter to remove both. Once done, you can slide the leather part off the round frame for replacement. To reassemble, follow the steps in reverse.
