How to Remove the Fuel Pump on a Ford Ka mk1

Of course, this operation must be carried out with the tank completely empty. Lift the car and work from underneath to access the fuel pump. Without removing the silencer, slightly bend the section of the exhaust shown by the arrow. Using a 6 mm spanner, unscrew the clamp bolt of the fuel inlet pipe and the breather pipe. As shown in the video, unscrew the 4 bolts of 13 mm that secure the tank after placing a stand underneath it, disconnecting the remaining pipes. Then remove the red conduit going to the pump, and you will finally be able to extract it from its housing.
