How to Remove the Fuel Tank Float on a Ford Kuga

How do you remove the fuel pump float on a Ford Kuga? This operation is not too difficult; follow these steps to disassemble the part. Remove the rear seat cushions from the car. Use a socket spanner to undo the screws securing the cover cap of the tank, then lift it out of its seat (pull down the tank if necessary). Use absorbent paper around the perimeter to soak up any liquid leaks. Use a chisel to undo the large securing pin of the fuel pump: disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation hoses. Replace the float pump inside the tank with a new one.
