Replace the Gear Gaiter on Ford Transit

Learn how to remove the gear gaiter on a Ford Transit. Detach the gaiter frame from the plastic covering on the centre tunnel, unscrew the knob until you can pull it off the fastening rod, then slide the gaiter off the rod. Once the gaiter to be replaced is removed, install the new part. Reassemble: attach the gaiter to the plastic frame, then insert the cover onto the gear rod (secure the clip as shown in the video). Push the gaiter down until it clicks into the plastics of the centre tunnel. Screw the knob back on at the end of the assembly.
