How to Replace the Fuel Pump on Ford Focus

Are you having problems with the fuel pump? Let’s see how to remove the fuel pump on the Focus. Disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seat cushions to access the top of the tank. If you cannot find the cover under the seat, lift the car to remove the tank. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap (if present), and remove it from above the tank. Unscrew the clamp of the fuel pump, disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation hoses. Extract the fuel pump from inside the tank.
