How to Replace the Remote Battery on a Ford
Model: Ford Ford Various
To replace the battery in a Ford remote, remove the cover that features the car's logo and slide out the key blade underneath. Using a flathead screwdriver, lever in the key blade housing to open the remote and access the battery and circuits. The old battery can be pried out using the same screwdriver: once the old battery is removed, insert the new battery. At the end of the operation, reassemble all the parts.
