Model: Ford Focus MK 3 - Years 2011-2018
Part: Fog lights
Operation: How to replace the Ford Focus MkIII fog light bulb

The guide shows how to disassemble the fog light to replace the bulb of that light. In order to operate more comfortably and have more work space, it is advisable to rotate the tip of the wheel of the side on which you are working towards the inside of its housing. At this point, the five Torx T30 screws located in the wheel arch and in the lower part of the bumper can be unscrewed. At this point, after having removed a part of the lower bumper of the bumper, to allow the wheel arch to come out, it is possible to access the compartment of the fog light. Now it is possible to rotate the connector and the bulb holder anticlockwise in order to extract the bulb to be replaced. The model of the new fog light bulb is the H11. After having extracted the assembly from the compartment, by levering the two black tabs it is possible to disconnect the power cable. Take the new replacement part and reinstall it. By following the steps backwards, it is possible to reassemble the wheel arch and the relative fixing screws.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
