Instructions for Removing the Car Radio

Model: Ford Ka MK 1 - Years 1996-2008

To remove the original car radio, you need to have the appropriate extraction keys: these are high-strength steel wires shaped like a "U" that must be inserted into the holes on both sides of the car radio. Once the two extraction keys are inserted, press them fully to release the securing springs and widen them outwards to pull the radio from its housing. At this point, disconnect the connectors at the back of the radio: before doing this, ensure you have the activation code necessary for the subsequent reactivation.
