Removing the Tailgate Light on a Ford Ecosport

Model: Ford Ecosport BK, MK 1 - Years 2012-2023

Open the tailgate. Remove the protective cover of the tailgate handle using a small flat screwdriver or a plastic trim tool. Remove the handle by unscrewing the two side screws. Using the same trim tool, detach the two main plastic covers of the tailgate as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the exposed 8 mm bolt that secures the light. Close the tailgate and proceed to remove the light. Now unscrew the bulb housing to remove it from the structure and replace the bulb itself. Reassemble by reversing the steps.
