This brief guide explains how to remove and replace the steering wheel airbag module on the second series Ford Focus in simple and quick steps. First, get in the vehicle and remove the plastic cover of the steering wheel by prying the sides with a flat screwdriver; then, pull the steering wheel back and press on the rear hole to extract the steering wheel airbag, as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect the electrical connector to remove it completely; unscrew the central screw of the steering wheel to remove it as well, using a socket spanner!
