Replace Indicator Bulb on Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

Open the boot lid and note that inside the boot, behind the light unit, there is a knob that you need to unscrew. Once done, unscrew the T25 Torx screw that secures the light unit to the bodywork from the outside. At this point, you can pull the light unit out of its housing, then remove the affected bulb (in this case, the indicator) by slightly unscrewing its connector and pulling it out. Insert the new bulb into the connector, ensuring it is securely in place, and proceed in reverse for complete reassembly: insert the bulb and connector back into the light unit, then screw the unit back onto the bodywork.
