Replace Disc Brake Pads on Ford Transit

Model: Ford Transit MK 6 - Years 2000-2006

Remove the clips located above the wheel fastening bolts. Loosen the same bolts, then lift the vehicle with a jack and unscrew them completely, allowing you to remove the wheel. Unscrew the caliper fastening bolt while holding the front guide with a spanner. Use a flathead screwdriver to help extract the disc brake pads. If you are unsure about the pad replacement, measure their working thickness: it must be greater than 1.5 mm to ensure effective braking. Clean the braking area with a suitable spray and insert the new pads, then proceed in reverse for complete reassembly.
