Replacing the key battery of your Ford Edge is very simple and takes just a few seconds. Follow these instructions and ensure you have a small flat-head screwdriver on hand. First, remove the physical emergency key and then open the cover by gently prying it with the screwdriver. Just underneath, you will have access to the exhausted button cell battery. Remove it and replace it with a new compatible battery. Once this is done, reassemble the cover correctly and insert the physical key back inside.
