How to Replace the Battery in a Ford Edge

To replace the battery in the Ford Edge, start by opening the bonnet. Use an 8mm socket to undo the nut holding the lower battery clamp. First, disconnect the negative terminal using a spanner, then the positive terminal with the same spanner. Pry the terminals up with a flathead screwdriver to lift them off; now you can remove the old battery. Take the new battery and place it where the old one was. Reconnect the positive terminal (after cleaning it with a knife), then tighten it to the battery. Reconnect the negative terminal (also after cleaning it), then tighten it to the battery. Finally, reattach the lower battery clamp with the 8mm socket. Now you can test the new battery.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
