How to Install the Rear Spoiler on the Ford Escape [USA]

Start by cleaning the surface of the body where the spoiler will be mounted with a degreaser. Take the spoiler and position it before securing it to verify the correct placement, then place tape on the body corresponding to the outline of the spoiler. Take double-sided tape and apply it along the entire outer edge of the spoiler, removing only the protective film from the right and left corners of the spoiler and securing the ends of the tape to the outside of the spoiler. Take a cartridge of silicone and apply it to the flat inner surface of the spoiler. Finally, position the spoiler on the body using the tape as a reference for placement, then gently pull off the protective film from the entire strip of double-sided tape. At that point, the spoiler will be properly mounted.
