Today's guide shows you the main steps to remove and replace the rear hatch of the Ford Escape. First, open the trunk hatch and start by removing the plastic panel or interior trim of the hatch itself; then, unscrew the mounting screws located at the top, behind the pillar, disconnecting the electrical connector of the third brake light.

At this point, disconnect both hydraulic struts from the trunk hatch, remove it, and replace it with the new one; try to center the installation of the rear hatch as much as possible!

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
