How to Replace the Front Shock Absorbers on a FORD FOCUS

In this video tutorial, you can see how to remove and replace the front shock absorbers on a Ford Focus: first, lift the bonnet and prepare the tools for the replacement (see video); undo the nuts securing the wiper arms using a 15 mm socket. Once the wiper arms are removed, take out the clips from the scuttle panel. Remove the scuttle panel. Loosen the upper and lower mounting bolts of the shock absorbers. Now place a support to hold the wheel steady and undo the wheel bolts. At this point, use a hydraulic jack to lift the front of the vehicle and place axle stands for support. Once the wheel is removed, disconnect the wiring and the shock absorber's flexible hose.
