Resetting the Service Maintenance Light

Model: Ford Focus MK 3 - Years 2011-2018
Part: Service warning light

If it is time to change the oil (either due to mileage or time), the message "SERVICE" will appear on the central display of the instrument cluster when you turn on the ignition. Once you have completed the regular maintenance, you can reset the light using a manual procedure:
- Keep all doors closed to avoid seeing the open door message;
- Press the brake and accelerator pedals fully down;
- Turn on the ignition using the key or by pressing the button;
- After 15 seconds, the display will show the message Reset completed.
