How to Replace the Headlamp Bulb on a Ford Transit

In this guide, you will perform a DIY operation on the Ford Transit: replacing the headlamp bulb. Open the bonnet and access the rear of the headlamp; you will find a cover that needs to be removed. At this point, you will see the bulb: turn it clockwise and pull it out. Disconnect the plastic holder from the wires by lifting the latch, as shown at 1:20 in the video. Now you can replace the bulb; detach the old bulb from the plastic holder and insert the new one, taking care not to touch the glass to avoid grease from your hands causing carbonisation and breakage. You can now proceed to refit the holder into the headlamp, reconnect it to the wires, secure it by turning it anti-clockwise, and replace the plastic cover.
