To replace the indicator bulb on a Ford Explorer, open the bonnet and lift the cover at the front of the engine bay; this will allow you to access the screws securing the headlamp at the top. By loosening them, the headlamp can be pulled from its housing, and the front indicator bulb can be removed and replaced.

Once the new bulb is inserted, reconnect the headlamp to the connector and insert it back into its housing, securing it with the appropriate bolts at the top.
