In this tutorial, see how to replace the battery in a Ford Escape, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure the key is not in the ignition for safety. Start by opening the hood, then remove the cap from the left windshield wiper arm and loosen the corresponding bolt with a 14mm socket wrench. Next, remove the screws securing the brake fluid reservoir with a Torx T25 screwdriver and take off the protective plastic cover. At this point, disconnect both battery terminals, remove the nuts from the upper bracket, and take the battery out of the housing.
