To replace the air filter on a Ford Explorer, open the bonnet and disconnect the connectors and the hose attached to the box containing the filter. To detach the hose, you will need to unscrew the bolt that secures its clamp.

Once the hose is disconnected, you can open the cover and remove the air filter located inside the box. After the old filter has been removed, insert a new replacement part, securing the box with the appropriate clips and reconnecting it to the hose with the clamp.
