Follow these simple steps to remove and replace the external door handle on the second series Ford Explorer. First, remove the door panel by taking off the various plastic covers and unscrewing the screws underneath.

Then, disconnect the electrical connectors as shown in the video. Next, unscrew the screws of the external handle located at the bottom; remove the handle by disconnecting the cables, and replace it with the new one (of the correct type), following the tutorial video to the end!
