To replace the external wing mirror on the Ford Explorer, you need to detach the triangular plastic cover located inside the door, corresponding to the mirror. Once this cover has been removed, you can unscrew the bolts underneath and then disconnect the connector. This will allow you to remove the mirror from the outside of the car, so that a new one can be inserted: the new mirror must be connected to the connector and secured with the appropriate bolts, covering everything with the triangular panel.
