The step-by-step instructions in this guide will allow you to remove and replace the external wing mirror on the Ford Explorer. First, open the front door of the vehicle and start unscrewing all the fixing screws located on the door panel, then disconnect the electrical connector for the window switch. Once the door trim is removed, unscrew the fixing screws for the mirror, disconnect the adjustment connector to remove it from the outside, as shown in the video. At this point, refit the new external wing mirror by applying the reverse procedure.
