Fitting Roof Bars for Ford Explorer

Model: Ford Explorer MK 5, U502 - Years 2011-2019
Part: Roof rack bars

Obtain a ladder to work safely on the roof of the car. Locate the four threaded holes on each side of the existing longitudinal roof bars and unscrew the respective caps. Take the first crossbar and position it near the threaded holes. Using the supplied nuts with the bars and an Allen key, tighten the screws on both sides. Take the other roof bar and position it in line with the holes, and with the same Allen key, tighten the two screws on both sides.
