To reset the oil change service light, proceed as follows: first, press and hold the brake pedal, then insert the ignition key and turn on the ignition (do not start the engine), then press and hold the accelerator pedal all the way down while still holding the brake pedal. Wait about ten seconds for the service light to turn off. To verify the oil change light has been cleared, turn off the ignition and turn it back on by turning the key.
