Removing the External Rear-View Mirror and Compatibility with Electric Mirrors

Even if your Fiesta's mirrors are manual, they may be compatible with electric rear-view mirrors. To check, simply look at the wiring diagram in the fuse box, as illustrated in this tutorial. If they are compatible, you can proceed to remove the door panel: first, remove the cover of the handle, the internal handle, and the window switch buttons, then with the help of a flathead screwdriver, or better yet, a thin spatula, you can unclip the panel by prying all around. The Fiesta model presented in this video is the MK7 (in production since 2008).
