To replace the rear tailgate handle on a Ford C-Max, open the tailgate to access the screws securing the panel inside. Once these screws are loosened, detach the panel to access the components underneath. Here, unscrew and disconnect the connectors that secure the handle from the inside. The handle can now be removed from the outside of its housing, above the number plate. At this point, insert the new handle, connecting and securing it properly.
