Removing the Windscreen Wiper Motor

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

The wiper motor is located beneath the plastic grille directly under the windscreen. To access it, you need to remove the wiper arms (a good method is to mark the angle of the wipers with masking tape). Once the arms are removed, detach the plastic grille, disconnect the motor's power connector, and unscrew the nuts securing the entire wiper mechanism to which the motor is also attached. Once the entire system is removed, you can work on the motor.
