How to Replace Engine Oil on a Ford Fiesta

Below are the necessary steps to replace the oil and filter on the vehicle: first, open the bonnet, remove the engine cover, and open the oil filler cap. Next, lift the car and remove the soundproofing cover panel located underneath. Locate the oil drain plug and unscrew it, placing a collection container underneath first. Wait a few minutes until all the oil has drained out. Go back to the engine bay and locate the filter, which is situated under the air duct; then unscrew the filter cover and remove it. Detach the filter cartridge from the flange and take the new one; always replace the rubber gasket and reassemble it onto the cover, then screw everything back together. Finally, fill the system with new oil.
