If you want to learn how to replace the button battery inside the smart remote of your new Ford Expedition (model years 2018-2022), just carefully read the following instructions and then put them into practice. First, pull the top part of the cover outward to remove the physical emergency key contained within.

Next, use the same physical key to remove the back cover and proceed to replace the old battery with a new one (model CR 2450).
