How to replace the timing belt of the Ford Fiesta 1.4 16v
Model: Ford Fiesta
MK 5, Fiesta 5, MK V
- Years 2002-2008
To replace the timing belt of the Ford Fiesta with the 1.4 16v engine, we start with the purchase of the continental water pump kit with code ct881wp1 with the v04 tool box; in the video the engine and the carter that protects the cogwheels where the belt passes have already been disassembled; having done this procedure, remove the screw under the crankshaft and in its place screw in the locking tool (since we previously adjusted the engine just before top dead center, after screwing in the tool, rotate the engine until that does not touch the locking tool), then we fix the camshaft; we rotate the tensioner roller upwards until the stop pin can be fixed; we replace the screws of the camshaft sprockets necessarily using the counter support and when we screw them back we do not tighten them completely so that they can rotate. We fit the timing belt passing from the crankshaft, proceeding counterclockwise, passing through the sprockets and then through the tensioner roller; now we remove the pin from the tensioner roller to tighten everything; at this point we can tighten the screws of the camshaft sprockets to a tightening torque of 60Nm; finally we remove the locking tools, let the engine complete 2 revolutions to check the timing and reassemble everything.

How to Remove the CV Boot on Fiat Panda
Let’s see how to remove the boot from the joint on a Fiat Panda. After positioning your car on a column lift: raise it to a comfortable height to work on, loosen the wheel nuts (using a socket wrench or air drill) and remove the wheel. Begin unscrewing the brake disc bolts with a socket wrench. Remove the bolts located under the disc and completely detach the wheel hub. Pull the arm around the joint with your hands. Fit the new boot (after removing the old one) onto the constant velocity joint, then start reassembling all the parts in reverse order. by ScegliAuto More videos
