How to replace the battery in the Ford Focus remote control

To replace the battery in the Ford Focus remote control, start by removing the part with the emblem by pulling it off with your hands, then take out the key blade. Once the key blade is removed, use a small flathead screwdriver to insert it into the slot where the keyring is located, lever it to separate the two halves, and when you notice space between the two halves, continue to lever them apart. Once the remote halves are separated, locate the battery and remove it by prying it out from below with a screwdriver. Take the new battery and insert it into its slot as the old battery was positioned. Now, reassemble the two halves of the remote control, reinsert the key blade, and put the plastic part with the emblem back on. Finally, test the functionality of the new battery.
