How to Replace a Wheel on a Ford Explorer

To replace the wheel on a Ford Explorer, start by opening the boot, lifting the lower cover of the boot, removing the tools near the jack, lowering the jack, removing the top plate, and taking out the jack. Once the jack is removed, take off the cap nearby and use the supplied key to unscrew it to lower the spare wheel. Remove the support from the spare wheel and raise it back up, position the jack under the vehicle, loosen the wheel bolts with the supplied key, lift the vehicle, and continue unscrewing the bolts, then remove the flat tyre. Now take the spare wheel, align it with the bolt holes, screw on the star nuts, lower the vehicle, and finish tightening the nuts. Finally, reposition the jack and tools in their place under the lower cover of the boot, lower it, and place the wheel in the boot.
