In this new guide dedicated to your Ford Focus third series (2011-2018), we will discover the steps to safely remove the car battery. First, park the vehicle securely and turn it off completely.

Wait a few minutes, then lift the bonnet and locate the battery at the top of the engine compartment. Remove the plastic cover located just underneath and proceed to disconnect both terminals.

At this point, unscrew the bolts with an appropriate spanner and remove the battery.
