To replace the timing belt on a Ford Focus, first loosen the bolts securing the front right wheel after lifting the vehicle. You will also need to remove the inner wheel arch cover to access the tensioner. Next, open the bonnet and remove the left side cover of the engine bay to allow the belt to be removed from the pulleys. At this point, insert the new belt around the pulleys, ensuring it is tensioned correctly by installing the tensioner.
