If the rear flexible section fails, which connects the intermediate casing to the exhaust pipe, you can perform a repair using a galvanised metal sleeve secured with a clamp and applying sealant; lift the vehicle on suitable ramps to facilitate access to the exhaust, locate the area of failure, remove any rust residues with a metal brush to ensure proper adhesion of the sealant; shape the metal sleeve before applying the sealant, spread sealant over the area to be repaired, apply the sleeve, tighten the clamp, and then add more sealant externally to ensure a perfect seal; wait 12 hours for the sealant to dry completely.
