In this video we can see where the oil filter is located in the Ford Explorer. As shown, it is located in the classic position underneath the vehicle, right next to the exhaust pipe. In case we need to replace it, we will first need to open the upper filling cap, and then drain all the oil by unscrewing the appropriate drainage bolt located in the lower area. Once this is done, we can unscrew the filter, insert oil into it, and screw it into its housing. Finally, we proceed with the filling of new oil into the circuit.
