How to Reset the Service Light on the Ford Fiesta MkVI

Model: Ford Fiesta Fiesta 6, MK 6, MK VI - Years 2008-2017

To reset the service light on the Ford Fiesta, get in the vehicle and close all four doors. Turn on the ignition: the spanner warning light will remain illuminated. At this point, press and hold both the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously for at least 20 seconds. Release both pedals and you will see the light turn off. Now, turn off the ignition and physically remove the key for a few seconds (at least five). You can then reinsert the key and turn the ignition back on. The light should be off. Start the engine and you're good to go. The car is ready.
