How to Dismantle the Wheel Bearing

The video guide walks you step by step through the replacement of the wheel bearing. To determine when replacement is necessary, simply check, with the car on a jack, for play in the wheel itself; additionally, during driving, you may notice increased noise.
Once the vehicle is secured on axle stands, the first step is to remove the wheel. Next, disassemble the brake caliper and remove it along with the disc.
At this point, unscrew the central nut that holds the bearing to the hub, and you can then proceed with the replacement.
The car in the video is a 2002 Ford Focus, but the procedure is similar for all vehicles.
