In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the driver's window regulator mechanism in a Ford Escape. This is a simple task but requires good manual skills.

First, open the door in question, then detach the inner cover of the mirror, the cap located inside the opening handle, and the bottom of the handle. Next, remove the door panel by unscrewing the relevant mounting screws, separate the glass from the support, and secure it to the upper pillar using tape.

At this point, you can unscrew the mounting bolts of the mechanism, pull it out of the door, and install the replacement.
